(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Harrison Ford is always happy to star in sequels, joking that he's "in negotiations for Air Force One 2".
Harrison is one of Hollywood's most revered actors, famed for roles in franchises including Indiana Jones and the original Star Wars trilogy.
During a press conference for his latest picture Cowboys & Aliens, the star was asked about a spoof video on YouTube detailing a film called Air Force One 2. Harrison, who played President James Marshall in 1997 thriller Air Force One, teased that a sequel sounds like a good plan.
"What's ludicrous about that? I'm in negotiations right now," he laughed.
"I'm trying to think if there's ever been a sequel pitch I didn't go for... I don't think so."
When asked whether he was more attracted to the sci-fi or the Western aspect of Cowboys & Aliens, Harrison joked that he cared about neither. The 69-year-old teased that his only movie motivations are economic.
"To be fair I don't really care what the genre is. I'm in it for the money," he deadpanned, before adding that it was in fact the chance to play war veteran Woodrow Dolarhyde which really appealed to him.
"I was playing a part of the Western side. That really is what attracted me, but in particular it was the special character, not the genre," he explained. "The opportunity to work with all these wonderful people was the other main draw for me." (C) Cover Media
