(Cover) - EN Star Style - Chris Evans "blames his parents" for his undesirable style as a youngster.

The Hollywood actor, who is starring in Captain America: The First Avenger, appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon this week, where a series of embarrassing school photos were revealed.

The 30-year-old actor says his appearance as a kid was totally out of his hands, and blames his mother and father for his disastrous sense of style.

"Can you see this fantastic bead necklace that I have on? For some reason I buttoned the top button [of my denim shirt]. It's so unacceptable," he said. "I blame my parents completely. They knew every day this kid was walking out the door and they said, 'Good luck!'"

Chris has joked about his braces and "bowl cut" style hair cut. The 30-year-old actor was referring to his seventh grade picture, which showed him sporting a not-so-stylish look.

"We started drifting into the bowl cut era," he quipped. "And the clear braces were something special." (C) Cover Media
