Chris Martin "really cares" about new music artists, says Rita Ora.

Up-and-coming British star Rita is signed to Jay-Z's Roc Nation label and has been spending a lot of time stateside recently.

She has met many of the hip-hop mogul's closest friends, among them Coldplay star Chris and his spouse.

"I've met Chris Martin and his wife Gwyneth Paltrow a few times through Jay-Z. The couples are good friends," she told British newspaper The Sun.

"Chris is always talking about music and he asks about what I am doing. He cares."

Jay-Z's wife Beyonc Knowles has also been on hand to help Rita while she's been recording. The superstar couple became parents for the first time earlier this year and the rising star loves seeing how Beyonc has embraced motherhood.

Rapper Kanye West is another famous face who has inspired Rita.

"I saw Beyonc the other day and she had her daughter in one arm and was still multi-tasking. She's amazing," the singer gushed.

"Kanye's a workaholic. I was in the studio with him, watching him work on music and his fashion line at the same time.

"Kanye has opened my eyes to so much new music."

Rita describes meeting legendary musician Stevie Wonder as an "epic moment" and also enjoyed coming face-to-face with the Kardashian clan for the first time.

She is rumoured to be dating Rob Kardashian, although she hasn't confirmed or denied the speculation. However, the 21-year-old will discuss how overwhelmed she was when she was introduced to his sisters who include Kim, Kourtney and Khlo.

"I told them how much I love the show and told them they are hot in real life," she laughed.
