(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Christina Applegate has given birth to a girl.

It has been revealed the actress delivered a 7 lbs. 8 oz. daughter called Sadie Grace LeNoble last week in Los Angeles. This is the stars first child with her fianc, musician Martyn LeNoble, and the new arrival has been confirmed by a representative for the happy couple.

"Actress Christina Applegate and fianc, musician Martyn LeNoble, welcomed daughter Sadie Grace LeNoble on Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011, in Los Angeles," the spokesperson said in a statement. "Mother and daughter are doing great."

Christina, 39, is thrilled to have become a mother and she and Martyn who also posted news about Sadies arrival on his Facebook page - are already forming a close bond with the baby.

"She's a beautiful little girl, and they are so happy and in love with her," a source told People.

Christina decided to keep the details surrounding her pregnancy a secret and didnt want to discuss her due date. However, she did reveal she was keen to implement some skills learnt from her mother Nancy Lee Priddy, but feared she wouldnt be such a relaxed parent.

I'll probably be a little bit hippie and a little bit Type A, Christina said. I'll take from what my mother did, which was way hippie and like 'Do what you wanna do,' and bring some things that I know from watching my friends raise their kids. An amalgamation of sorts.

Christina has been dating Martyn for around three years and they got engaged in February 2010. (C) Cover Media
