There would be a particular digital billboard, displayed at the Broadway and the 46th Street where photographs of some of the viewers would also be included.
The most important focus of the campaign, that would soon be introduced in New York, Thursday in Times Square and at a reception for the advertisers, media buyers and at a press, is a video that simulates a certain photo shoot for the newest ad campaign for Cosmopolitan.
Using the help of an application of the popular social networking site, Facebook Connect, the viewers of this video, have the right to download their own pictures along with that of their friends. The photos keep popping up in the video. The viewers are in a way depicted as the cynosure of the campaign.
It is the magazine's hope that the viewers will definitely be sharing the video with their pals and peers and thus spread the word. Thus, the whole campaign would assume the role of a justly global reach. This would be done with the assistance of the social media.
