(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Courtney Love sustained burns to her hands following a blaze at her New York residence early this morning.

The 46-year-old musician woke up to find her bedroom in flames. Courtney burned her hands in an attempt to combat the blaze that started on her bedroom windowsill.

"We can confirm that we attended a small fire at [Courtney's house] and the curtains were on fire. The owner had burns to her hands and refused medical treatment," New York City Fire Department officials told Radaronline.

The minor fire did not cause substantial damage to Courtney or to the property. Only window curtains and bed linen were singed and it is believed that a lit candle in the windowsill caused the mini blaze.

Courtney has not received medical treatment for the burns on her hand as New York City Fire Department officials on the scene equated the injury to "a sunburn".

After scouring the city for months in an intense search for property, Courtney moved to the luxury West Village townhouse in Manhattan in February of this year. She rents the townhouse for $27,000 per month and the property has three bedrooms, five bathrooms and six fireplaces. (C) Cover Media
