(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Tom Cruise "brought his f**king game" to the set of upcoming film, Rock of Ages.

The Hollywood actor stars alongside Alec Baldwin and Russell Brand in the musical film, which is built around classic rock hits from the 1980s.

Much has been made of Tom's role in the picture, as it's known he'll be showing off his vocal talents. The star plays ageing musician Stacee Jaxx in the highly-anticipated movie and sings Dead or Alive by Bon Jovi and Def Leppard's Pour Some Sugar On Me.

Tom's co-star Malin Akerman, who plays magazine reporter Constance in the movie, has revealed that the actor committed whole-heartedly to the challenging role.

"You will be shocked," she told E! Online. "I kind of wasn't that surprised, because when Tom does something he does it 150 percent. So he really just brought his f**king game and he sounds like a rock star.

"I'm not kidding. He could be an opera singer if he wanted to. His voice is really powerful."

Malin says her duet with Tom in the upcoming movie is "sick". The 33-year-old beauty, who is best known for starring in Watchmen and The Proposal, still can't believe she performs alongside the Hollywood heartthrob.

"It was unbelievable. It's kind of surreal, to go in and do, like, a duet with Tom Cruise. We sing 'I Want to Know What Love Is' together, which is sick," she explained. "So we had a really great scene, Tom and I. He was absolutely amazing to work with." (C) Cover Media
