Lindsay Lohan must see counsellor'

21st July 2011

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Lindsay Lohan was ordered to seek counselling and to expeditiously wrap up her community service in court this morning.

Lindsay arrived at the LAX Airport Courthouse this morning to face Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner. Judge Sautner had a few issues related to the progress of Lindsay's May sentence in the misdemeanour shoplifting case where Lindsay entered a no contest plea to stealing a $2,500 necklace from a jewellery store in Venice, California.

Judge Sautner was not happy with the amount of community service hours Lindsay has performed so far. The judge suggested that Lindsay's pace was too sluggish for her liking.

"I'm not going to give her five minutes extra. I don't want to hear 'Oh I couldn't do it because I was on the set of the John Gotti movie,'" said a stern Judge Sautner to Lindsay in court this morning.

Lindsay must finish her 480 hours of community service within one year. She was also ordered to seek individual counselling and to have secured a counsellor within 21 days, otherwise her probation will be revoked and she will go to jail.

Lindsay has completed just 33 hours of her community service sentence. On Judge Sautner's orders, the actress is now actively seeking therapy. (C) Cover Media
