(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Tom Cruise will not press charges on the man accused of trespassing on his Beverly Hills, California property on Sunday night, his lawyer says.
Jason Sullivan was spotted as he tried to climb over the luxury mansion's fence and was subsequently arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary.
According to TMZ, members of the Beverly Hills Police Department have stated that the "drunk" man was caught out by a security guard who tasered him.
When police arrived at the scene, they found Sullivan trying to flee from the guard and arrested him.
The 41-year-old man, an Australian model and reality television star, was cited for misdemeanour trespassing and released, according to the website.
Tom has been filming his new movie All You Need Is Kill in the UK and was not at his home at the time of the incident.
His lawyer, Bert Fields, says the actor will not press charges.
"Tom's not a vindictive guy. The guy was drunk. He didn't have a malicious intent," he said.
Tom reportedly bought the 10,000-square-foot house, which boasts seven bedrooms and nine baths, a tennis court and swimming pool, with ex-wife Katie Holmes for $30.5 million six months after they were married. (C) Cover Media
