(Cover) - EN Fashion - Daisy Lowe deals with insecurities by telling herself looks arent everything.

The 21-year-old British model is celebrated for her curvaceous figure and beautiful features, although she says she often feels unhappy with her appearance because she experiences the same body issues most women do.

Daisy was photographed with her actor boyfriend Matt Smith on holiday on the hedonistic island of Ibiza this summer, and the images of her in a bikini displaying some cellulite helped her put things into perspective.

"I looked at those pictures and thought, 'Everything looks really bad.' You try and block things out, but when you see your cellulite circled in magazines by women who want to feel better about themselves, it's really sad.

It got so bad that I had to take time out to tell myself, 'It's OK, you don't have to freak out: looks aren't everything,'" explained the star in an interview with British newspaper The Daily Telegraph.

Despite having worked as a model for six years and being hailed as one of the UKs most stunning women, Daisy says comments about her skin being problematic earlier this year hit her hard. The models mother, singer Pearl Lowe, had always instilled Daisy with plenty of body confidence, but she says some of that got lost.

"My mother has always treated me as her equal, so I grew up comfortable in my own skin. But modelling is difficult and behind closed doors, I began to feel really insecure. People were going on about me having bad skin and I was beating myself up over every picture," she confessed. (C) Cover Media
