Song and dance are an integral part of Indian entertainment. We have number of singing and dancing reality shows which garner huge TRPs. In terms of Bollywood, trade pundits agree that if the music of a film works, the film gets an extra nudge at the box office.

However, if we closely observe we only have a handful of good dancers in the industry.

Hrithik Roshan and Shahid Kapoor are invariably at the top. Hrithik made his big break with 'Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai' and mystified the audiences with his grooves in the film. Shahid on the other hand, started his career as a background dancer in 'Taal'. He was a senior dancer with Shiamak Davar and got absorbed in films on his own accord.

Time and again, Shahid has been approached by various dance based reality shows to come on-board as a judge.

The channel heads and production houses who approached him, expressed that having him on-board would make a huge difference.

The actor has been modest in turning down these proposal on the pretext that there is yet so much he has to learn - when dance is concerned.

A source confirms, "Shahid has been offered big money, however, Shahid only wants to concentrate on his films as of now."
