(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Daniel Radcliffe has joked that if his post-Harry Potter career falters he will beg J.K. Rowling to write more books.

The British actor plays the lead role and title character in the Harry Potter film franchise about a group of wizard students battling a villain called Voldemort, adapted from the books by author J.K. Rowling.

Daniel, 21, has been working on the movies since the age of ten, with the final instalments in the series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part One and Part Two, due for release in November 2010 and July 2011 respectively.

After so many years working on the franchise, Daniel says he is looking forward to exploring new paths, although he teased that if things dont go well, he can always ask J.K. Rowling to write another book to salvage his career.

Im sure there will be moments when Ill be glad to have moved on. If I dont make that transition particularly successfully Ill probably be begging Jo [Rowling] to write more books! laughed the star in an interview with Total Film magazine.

Daniel has loved his time appearing in the Harry Potter franchise, and has forged particularly strong friendships with his co-stars Emma Watson and Rupert Grint, who play his wizard pals Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley. The actor admits he will really miss working alongside them, because everybody involved in the movies have become like a second family to him.

It will be hard. Ill miss being able to walk onto a film set and know exactly who everyone is and where I stand with them. We all know each other so well and weve all worked as a unit for so long Ill miss that feeling of family very much, he lamented. (C) Cover Media
