(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Dannii Minogue says she feels cheated by winter.

The star spent many months this year in her native Australia while she was pregnant and gave birth in her hometown in July. Dannii, along with her boyfriend Kris Smith and their baby son Ethan, then travelled to the UK so the singer could return to her role as a judge on talent contest The X Factor. Dannii has joked she feels aggrieved because she has missed out on enjoying any hot weather in 2010.

Due to travelling between the UK and Australia, it is my third winter in a row this year and I feel cheated. Dark days, grey skies and rain are way too familiar now, she moaned. The closest I get to Vitamin D is standing next to a bottle of tablets in a health food store.

However, Dannii has a sure-fire way to ensure she remains in good spirits over the Christmas period. The 39-year-old has splashed out on some gorgeous footwear and is planning to attend a host of fun events.

The only way to cheer up is to put on some party shoes and dance at festive parties, she added. (C) Cover Media
