(Cover) - EN Showbiz - David Hasselhoff's girlfriend thinks that she's too young to get married.

David and Hayley Roberts, 32, began dating earlier this year.

Hayley has already turned down several marriage proposals from 59-year-old David.

Now the Welsh beauty's mother, Margaret, has confirmed her daughter's reluctance to tie the knot. She has revealed Hayley thinks she isn't mature enough to marry just yet.

"She has told me that he keeps asking her and she says she likes him a lot, but she's still quite young and that's what the problem is," Margaret told Radar Online.

"At first I found the age difference difficult. He's older than me but when you see them together they just get on really well so I don't worry so much now.

"It's not the age difference...it's more she's young and it's a big commitment."

Margaret says the couple are hopeful for a future together. Hayley quit her job recently in order to spend more time with her TV star beau.

"She has given up her job to be with him for a year," Margaret explained.

"It's too hard otherwise with him travelling...but she wanted this year to be with him and see what it's like. This way she can spend the year and see how she feels about being with him after that. I don't think she should jump into marriage and that's what I've told her."

Margaret is adamant that she doesn't want her daughter to make any rash decisions regarding her relationship with David.

"I told her to take things easy and think things over," he said. "I don't want her making bad mistakes."

David recently told of his plans to convince his girlfriend to marry him.

"I am going to send her one of those cards, you know, instead of doing it in person. Instead of saying happy birthday, it will say, Hi, this is Hasselhoff will you marry me?' You can send those things right to a cell phone," he explained.
