Bollywood stars are often spotted at places of worship only when their films are slated for release or if it’s a mega festival like the current on-going Ganesh Utsav, where many B’town stars have been spotted.

Deepika Padukone has been surprising us with her recent visits to famous temples in India. First she was spotted at Ajmer Dargah, where she was seen in a complete desi avatar offering prayers; just a couple of days after Katrina had visited the same shrine.  The latest we hear is that Deepika was spotted at the Golden Temple in Amritsar to attend a prayer session. When asked about her presence, Deepika revealed that she was there to offer her obeisance and it was a long-pending trip that finally saw the light of the day.

Her religious trips don’t end there as she plans to visit more and more holy places in the North, in the coming months.
