Salman Khan is all committed right now with the shoot of his upcoming film 'Race 3' but the actor will soon start shooting for 'Bharat', a film directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by his brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri. This will be Salman's third collaboration with Ali Abbas after two successful hits 'Sultan' and 'Tiger Zinda Hai'.
The plot of the film takes us back to vintage India during the independence era in the year 1947. It is set to highlight our country's partition and will also showcase significant events over a period of 70 years after the partition. It will be interesting to see the actor's patriotic side in the film. Moreover, the character Salman is set to essay is unknown and we have to wait to know more about it.
Giving away some details about the film, director Ali Abbas Zafar said, "The Partition sequences will be shot in Punjab, keeping in mind the minute details which have been researched over the last three months. Original steam engines will be used for this shoot along with art, costumes, and nuances, which will give the feel of that era."
Some sources suggest that Salman will be seen in five completely different looks in Bharat. It is one of the darkest chapters from the history, the Partition of India. The project is confirmed and the rest of cast is yet to be finalised.
