(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Demi Lovato has discussed her "brutal" fights with Miley Cyrus.

The 19-year-old songstress entered a rehab facility last year to combat "emotional and physical issues".

Demi relied on the support of her friends Miley and Selena Gomez. The singer says although she and Miley argue, she knows she can always count on her love and friendship.

"No matter how many times we fight, we will always be in each other's lives," she told the February edition of Seventeen magazine. "Miley and I are very strong-headed, so when we fight, it's brutal and we're like, 'We're never going to be friends again!' Then two days later, we're like, 'I love you and I miss you!'"

Despite her tumultuous friendship with Miley, Demi says there is a different dynamic with Selena. The star says the actress-and-singer's personality is less antagonistic, so fights happen less frequently.

"She's not a confrontational person at all," she revealed.

"Both of them will never leave my life no matter what happens, because we've been through so much together."

Apart from her close friends, Demi was overwhelmed to receive support from many across the entertainment world when she was receiving treatment. The brunette beauty was stunned to receive a phone call from reality TV star Kim Kardashian.

"We're not super-close, but Taylor Swift tweeted 'Pray for Demi,' which I thought was really awesome of her. And Kim Kardashian, the busiest woman on the planet, took time to call me," she smiled.

"[She] was there for me when not many people were. I could count on my hands how many people were there for me. So the people who were, I didn't forget it." (C) Cover Media
