November 4, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): 'Camp Rock' star and American actress and singer-songwriter Demi Lovato has checked into a rehab on November 1st 2010. Her publicist stated that she needed a much required treatment for emotional and physical issues which had been lingering for quite some time. Lovato was originally supposed to be on an international tour with the Jonas Brothers at this time of the year but she dropped it and got into the rehab.

It is being rumored that Lovato had been suffering from anxiety, depression, or borderline personality disorder for a long time now. It has also been speculated that she is a cutter (self mutilation). It all started when paparazzi noticed cut marks on Lovatos wrist at a red carpet event. Lovato did not clarify the rumors and her publicist defended her by stating that it was the marks of some tight gummy bracelets she wore prior to her appearance on the red carpet.

'People' stated that a source close to Lovatos family has disclosed that she was often bullied in school and she even suffered from eating disorders. The source has confirmed that she was / still is indeed a cutter.
