Demi Moore has resurfaced after filing for divorce from Ashton Kutcher.

The 49-year-old actress had not been seen out for a while and is said to be licking her wounds after deciding to split from her husband of six years amid infidelity rumours.

And while her ex-husband Bruce Willis and her three daughters Rumer, 23, Scout, 20, and 17-year-old Tallulah were present at the teen's debutante debut in Paris, Demi was closer to home.

Us Weekly reports that the newly single star was seen having dinner with a male friend at the Sunset Tower in Los Angeles.

She was apparently enjoying an evening with Hollywood florist Eric Butterbaugh.

"They are BFFs," the insider said. "Totally platonic friends."

Eric was even on hand when Demi and Ashton went on a camping trip around the time that Sarah Leal alleged that she had spent the night with the Two and a Half Men star on the couple's six year wedding anniversary.

"Demi seemed fine, in a good mood and laughing," the eyewitness said. "She was just with her friend having a nice night out."

A fellow diner also told the New York Post that the Ghost star appeared in good spirits.

"Demi looked good," the insider revealed. "Like she was ready to be seen out. She was in deep conversation with her male companion."
