Roger Moore praises Craig's queen sketch

27th October 2012

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Sir Roger Moore was "very delighted" when Daniel Craig got to do a James Bond sketch opposite Britain's Queen Elizabeth II.

The British actor formerly portrayed the suave 007 agent on the big screen, with Daniel most recently taking over the part.

Daniel appeared alongside the British monarch earlier this year to film a funny spy-inspired sketch for the London 2012 Olympic Games opening ceremony. Roger is proud of the attention the franchise garnered from such a high-profile shoot.

"I wasn't envious, I was very delighted for him. It's a great compliment to the Bond franchise. I imagine it must have been very nerve-wracking for him," he told the UK edition of OK! magazine.

Roger has also met the queen, amongst a host of other royal family members. He has revealed his favourite.

"I've met them all, but my favourite is the queen. Hopefully I'll get another gong now!" he laughed, referring to his knighthood. (C) Cover Media
