Demi Moore is rumoured to be suffering from a mid-life crisis.

The actress has been battling personal problems since she split from Ashton Kutcher last year, after he allegedly cheated on their wedding anniversary.

She has spent time in rehab and although she is thought to be getting better, her relationship with her daughters Rumer, Tallulah and Scout is strained. The girls are rumoured to be considering getting a restraining order against their mother, with her infatuation with Ashton one of the problems.

"Demi's daughters appear to have had enough of her unpredictable behaviour. After everything she'd been through, she's still calling Ashton and, as a result, they've decided to cut contact," a source told Heat magazine.

"Demi has been in the throes of a serious mid-life crisis since she split from Ashton. But the fact that Demi still calls him drives the girls crazy."

The star's daughters apparently feel their only option is to make Demi realise how much they want her to get healthy again.

"They realised their supportive approach wasn't working and decided to take a different tack," the insider said. "They gave her an ultimatum: get healthy again and start acting like mom."
