(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Denise Richards has reportedly spent $500,000 sculpting her swimming pool.

The American star has spent time renovating her new home, which is located in a gated community in San Fernando. She's worked on all areas of the property, but it's the swimming pool which has caused most problems. Denise kept changing her mind, resulting in it being reworked three times.

"After replacing the old pool immediately after purchasing the pad she then added a meandering river fed by an elaborate waterfall," reports National Enquirer. "After deciding she didn't like that she demolished and redesigned it to look like an Italian grotto."

All in all the redesigns cost Denise around $500,000. She's had extensive work done to the rest of the 7,000 square foot home, with the outlay said to be as much as $2 million.

It's thought Denise's new home is just a few doors away from her ex-husband Charlie Sheen. The pair have daughters Sam, seven, and six-year-old Lola together and Charlie is keen to live near them so they can spend more time together.

Denise also has baby Eloise, who she adopted earlier this year. (C) Cover Media
