At the time of Abhishek Bachchan’s film ‘Dum Maaro Dum’s release, it was reported that Ram Gopal Varma was a spoiled sport and revealed the climax of the film. This had initiated a cold war amongst the Bachchan’s that continued to make headlines till ‘Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap’s release. It seems that all is well in the Bachchan camp right now. RGV and actor Amitabh Bachchan recently commenced shooting for their latest film ‘Department’. Amitabh Bachchan recently tweeted about his excitement on starting the brand new film, “At shoot of Ram Gopal Varma's ‘Department' ...new film, first day for me  ... another friendly appearance  ...Sanjay Dutt and Rana on set !”.

Earlier it was reported that when Abhishek Bachchan was replaced by his ‘Dum Maaro Dum’ co-star Rana in the film, the cold war was fueled further, as Amitabh was apparently miffed with RGV for replacing his son. But now, as they say all’s well that ends well.
