Dhansika can't stop raving about National award winning director Bala and his upcoming film 'Paradesi', in which she has played one of the lead actresses.

"It was a great learning experience to work with Bala. When the climax scene was about to be shot, he wanted me to reduce weight. And I did it by starving for four days," she says.

The actress, who was a part of movies like 'Aravaan' and 'Maanja Velu' adds, "Water and fruit juice were my only food intake during those four days. Bala appreciated me after the scene was shot".

Stating that her character in the movie would be talked about once it hit the screens, Dhanshika says she is eagerly looking forward for the release of Paradesi.
