Dhanush is happy with 'Vengai'
14th June 2011
It looks like Dhanush has become the adopted son of Sun Pictures, for they have been continuously choosing his projects to be the safest bet. Sun Pictures had previously marketed and released the actor's movies that include – 'Padikadhavan', 'Mappillai' and 'Aadukalam'. They are coming together for the fourth time, for the movie 'Vengai'. The film is directed by Hari, whose previous movie with Sun Pictures titled 'Singam', was a massive blockbuster.
'Vengai' is set in backdrops of rural areas, where Dhanush plays the role of an angry youngster, while Tamannah is his ladylove. Raj Kiran plays an important character, with Ganja Karuppu taking care of the humor quotient and Prakash Raj as the baddie.
The musical score by Dev Sri Prasad is considered an additional advantage and Sony BMG has acquired the audio rights for a record-breaking price. However, the songs have been a disappointment to all.
