Dhanush has tied up with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and the National Award winning actor will be leading 'Earth Hour 2012', a global campaign that works towards a better environment, throughout Tamil Nadu.

Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar is the national face of this initiative and Dhanush is happy to be the face of it for Tamil Nadu. It is to be noted that the actor came out with 'Sachin Anthem' recently.

Meanwhile, Dhanush is getting ready to promote his forthcoming film 3, which is hitting the screens on March 3, on a full swing. The movie directed by his wife Aishwarya has Shruti Haasan as the leading lady.

'3 is an important film in my career in many aspects. I am eagerly waiting for its release to know the response of the audience,' says the Aadukalam and Mappillai actor.
