November 22, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Kiran Rao, better half of Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan and a talented director has come out with the first look of the film Dhobi Ghat and reportedly, there has been quite a positive response to the film despite the fact that there were no dialogues released with the first look.

Aamir Khan stayed away from the trailer launch of the film to make sure that the film remains as the center of attraction rather than anything else.

The movie involves a very well-woven story of four different people from different strata of the society. The new actors in the film has been given very intense roles to portray similar to the stalwarts in the film.

Prateik Babbar, the dashing young actor and son of veteran stars Raj Babbar and late Smita Patil, has a very prominent role to play in it and going by the buzz, he has done a commendable job. He plays a laundry guy called Munna in the movie who happens to meet an interesting woman Monica Dogra and thereby a strange relationship develops between the two.

Aamir Khan, who was not supposed to be doing the film in the first place has portrayed the role of a painter who establishes a weird rapport with a married woman called Yasmin, this in spite of the fact that they have never met personally but through pictures which Aamir has seen of hers.

All in all the first look of the movie has incited enough excitement and enthusiasm. Thus, to see the entire film and enjoy the experience well just have to wait for its release. Kiran Rao has certainly been able to make use of her talent through this directorial debut and bring it in the open. hope it does well at the box office too.
