(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Eric Szmanda has divulged that he fell in love with Dita Von Teese the minute he met her.

The dark-haired burlesque star is set to appear in American crime drama CSI and she is excited about her role. The 38-year-old actress invited fans following her on Twitter to read more about her role by posting a link to tvguide.com, which reveals that Dita plays three characters-in-one in the programme.

The first is a dowdy school teacher named Ellen Whitebridge, the second her alter ego Rita Von Squeeze and then Ellens murdered French grandmother, chanteuse Agnes La Plouffe.

In the link her CSI co-star Eric Szmanda, who plays Greg Sanders, has admitted that he became entranced by Ditas charm from the first time he saw her.

"I was in love with her the minute I met her," Eric told the Kecks Exclusives section of the website tvguide.com.

He hinted that it would be the first time his character would receive any real romantic interest on set, which he described as exciting.

Eric even revealed that Greg might even have his first on-screen smooch with Dita.

"We're going to try [shooting] a kiss, and we'll see if it makes the cut. But there is an intimate encounter. I'm excited fans will finally delve into Greg's mysterious private world. This is by far the biggest episode I've ever had!"
