(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Robert Downey Jr. says he and Jude Law raised the stakes for the Sherlock Holmes sequel.

The pair star in Sherlock Holmes: A game of shadows which is out later this year. In the film, Sherlock Holmes, played by Robert, and his sidekick Dr. Watson, played by Jude, join forces to outwit and bring down their fiercest rival, Professor Moriarty.

The actors starred in original movie Sherlock Holmes together in 2009, but Robert has insisted that this time the plot has thickened, and both he and Jude have put their silly differences aside.

Were not bickering as much this time because the stakes are incredibly high. And I think thats what we wanted to do; we wanted to raise the stakes, he told Total Film. We wanted to see Holmes and Watson in very, very serious jeopardy.

Jude, 38, has explained the plot in very few words. The British actor insists the films purpose is the search for an arch enemy.
