The Duchess of Cambridge and husband Prince William "were beaming" as they celebrated their first wedding anniversary.
The British royal couple honoured their first year as man and wife on Sunday.
The day before their celebrations, the pair attended a wedding at St. Andrews Church in Wingfield, England.
Duchess Catherine and Prince William were glowing as they watched their close friends walk down the aisle.
"They were beaming," an onlooker told Us Weekly magazine. "They sat close to the front of the church, so they had to walk down the aisle together to get there. It made a few people chuckle."
The couple were focused on the bride and groom on the day.
"[Duchess Catherine] looked tanned and beautiful. Lots of people congratulated them on their first year anniversary," the source continued. "But they seemed quite keen not to take any attention away from the bride and groom."
After the wedding ended, Duchess Kate and Prince William traveled directly to their cottage in Wales. The couple were reportedly hoping to wake up together on the actual day of their anniversary.
"They've been looking forward to a very special day at home," a royal aid revealed.
