September 23, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): The Big Apple recently celebrated the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and EcoGir, was part of the whole festivity once again this year. EcoGir is a part of by Bagir International.

Last year, EcoGir had released two Eco-Ambassadors to the celebrated tents of the Bryant Park. This year, the company actually had a couple of runway shows thus providing its attendees as well as New Yorkers a glimpse of all the fashionable suiting that is created out of sustainable fabrics.

EcoGir is a compilation of customized clothing that is created from plastic PET bottles that are fully recycled. EcoGir teamed up with RS POP Shop so as to host a particular fashion week closing party. This was held at the Roger Smith Hotel rooftop.

For the New York City fashion week, RS POP Shop, is a completely unique and innovative concept that showcases conventional boutiques of fashion. It has also been hosting the showcases of the designer's. Utilizing a transformed storefront that is placed at the Lexington Avenue and the 47th Street, aka "The Lab", the RS POP Shop hosts several rapid and edgy performance art as well as exhibitions of installation.

EcoGir also presented a couple of showcases of their brand new Polyester collections that are Machine Washable and Tumble Dryable and Recycled. On 16th of September 16th this year the organization's debut show was held at 2PM, followed by a second show 4 hours later.
