(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Ed Westwick has teased that he loves sending very saucy text messages to girls.

The handsome star is best known for playing serial womaniser Chuck Bass in the hit US teen drama Gossip Girl, winning him an allegiance of female admirers across the globe.

The 23-year-old was in an on/off relationship with his pretty co-star from the show Jessica Szohr for some time and is famously reticent to discuss their romance, although he has hinted that he can be quite a ladies man.

Apparently one of Eds favourite ways to woo a woman he likes is to send her a raunchy text message, saying things he would never dare to utter in the flesh.

Theyre very saucy you know. I use that classic line: What are you wearing? [Laughs] People are braver when it comes to texts because they can hide behind them, he told the British edition of OK! magazine.

The hunk does draw the line at cheeky picture messages though. Despite the fact that many girls would probably love to receive a snapshot of Ed on their phones, he insists it wouldnt be his style, preferring to leave photoshoots in the hands of professional photographers.
