Film industry's two finest female filmmakers Ekta Kapoor and Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari come together for two feature films. From the two flicks, one will be directed by Ashwiny herself which is supposed to be a romantic-comedy and another light-hearted love story will be helmed by a debutant director, under the guidance of Ekta and Ashwiny. 

Ekta Kapoor took this moment and announced this collaboration sharing a  pic that has both Ekta and Ashwiny posing together. She announced with her tweet that read, "Magic happens when creative women come together. Excited to collaborate with Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari. We are producing two films together, one of which will be directed by @Ashwinyiyer!" 

In a reply to which the 'Nil Battey Sannata' director responded retweeting her tweet with a caption that read "There is so much more to films! Looking forward for this beautiful world of storytelling to evolve as @ektaravikapoor and I get our creative forces together for the pure love of cinema. Gratitude."

This will be the first-ever collaboration between the two filmmakers and it will be interesting to see what they both will bring together through their touch in Cinema.

In an interview, Ekta said, "I had seen Nil Battey Sannata (2016) and had messaged her (Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari) appreciating it. Next, we met on a Chennai-bound flight, sitting one behind the other, where we roughly chalked out a plan to work together. Eventually, after months of exchanges, we're here. We get along really well. Our sensibilities work beautifully, in tandem with each other. There's so much depth to every scene, every character she creates. When you have new talent, you mentor, but when you have talent like Ashwiny's, you ally with her because she brings something distinct to the table."
