(Cover) - EN Star Style - Elisha Cuthberts costume designer says she loves dressing the star for her new series.

The 28-year-old actress who is best known for her role as Kim Bauer in action TV series 24 is currently starring in new US series Happy Endings.

The shows costume designer, Keri Smith, says that the stars character, Alex, is a joy to dress.

Its always exciting to get the script. I love reading it and seeing what the kids are up to, she revealed in an interview with People. I love Alexs character, and I love dressing Alex.

The designer says Elishas free-spirited character enjoys a mix of urban and bohemian attire. One thing they tried to steer clear of was anything raunchy.

[She] loves to wear a lot of ruffly florals and organic jewellery. Shes a little less blingy. She wants to be flirty but we didnt want her to be out-there too much, explained Keri.

Eliza Coupe, who is renowned for her role as Denise Jo Mahoney in the medical comedy Scrubs, stars alongside Elisha in the new series about a group of friends who are navigating their way through their personal and professional lives.

According to Keri, the actress character dresses in a more sophisticated style than Elishas character.

She really likes to dress put-together. She wears skirts for her work day-time look and we like to add a twist with chunky jewellery, she explained. (C) Cover Media
