(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Elizabeth Hurley's boyfriend is eager to propose to the star, it has been reported.

Elizabeth and former cricket player Shane Warne have been dating for nearly one year. Their romance is going strong despite rumours that Shane was unfaithful during the beginning of their love affair. Although Shane is notorious for being a ladies' man, he is reportedly keen on cementing his love for Elizabeth.

"He plans on proposing before Christmas, with the couple having a low-key wedding late next year," a source told British newspaper The Mirror. "Shane is romantic and a traditionalist, and will definitely get down on bended knee to do the deed."

Before they began dating, both Elizabeth and Shane had been through difficult relationships. Elizabeth had separated from her husband Arun Nayar, with their divorce officially being granted in June 2011. Shane finally called an end to his tumultuous relationship with wife Simone Callahan too in that time period.

Elizabeth and Shane seem to be elated about the state of their current relationship despite their tumultuous romantic pasts. Shane is very much looking forward to their future together.

"Liz and Shane have a really happy, fun and secure relationship. They are forever giggling," a source said. "Shane absolutely adores her and is keen to make their relationship official."

Although Shane and Elizabeth may be happy together, it's unlikely that Elizabeth would want to wed. Stepping into marriage is not very appealing for the recent divorcee.

"Liz is in no hurry to walk down the aisle again, though, after only divorcing her ex in the summer," the source explained.

Elizabeth will portray character Diana Payne on television programme Gossip Girl, which airs in the US on September 26. (C) Cover Media
