(Cover) - EN Fashion - Elle Macpherson says her fashion sense is a bit schizophrenic.

As well as being one of the worlds most beautiful women, the 47-year-old model has her own successful underwear company, Elle Macpherson Intimates, and is regularly praised for her unique fashion sense.

The Australian beauty says her style is very eclectic, as she admires the elegance of retro Hollywood stars such as Katherine Hepburn, as well as appreciating the more eccentric images of 60s fashion heroines.

My fashion icons are Katharine Hepburn and 60s style queen Talitha Getty. I guess my taste is a bit schizophrenic because you couldnt get more opposing styles, she laughed in an interview with British newspaper The Daily Mail.

The star says her quirky look often involves mixing elegant gowns with laid-back shoes such as flip-flops, which are often usually worn on the beach. When Elle wants to look elegant on the red carpet, she likes to go for a vintage 1950s style, and shes especially a fan of Australian designer Lisa Hos pieces.

A key piece is my Lisa Ho 50s-style dress. You cant go wrong with Diane von Furstenberg, Herv Lger or Stella McCartney. Ill dress down a ball gown with flip-flops.
