(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Emma Roberts says Wes Craven is giddy when he sees blood.

The 20-year-old actress is best known for her roles in Nancy Drew, Aquamarine and Hotel for Dogs. Emma can next be seen in the popular horror series sequel, Scream 4 this year alongside Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox Arquette, David Arquette and Hayden Panettiere.

The American star says the popular horror franchises director Wes Craven has a fascination with gory scenes and says the more blood there is makes for a better Scream death.

Definitely lots of blood. Mr. Wes Craven loves blood. The more blood, the bigger his smile, every time. If theres blood hes giddy. Its hilarious, she told MTV.

David Arquette says the actors scream is the most important ingredient for an authentic death. The 39-year-old actor, who plays Dewey Riley in the hit horror, says that keeping the audience on their toes makes for a successful horror movie.

For a great Scream death I think the rules are having a great scream is really important, he said. The suspense, surprising the audience. Really buying into it and embracing the situation.

Hayden Panettiere says that the change of rules in the fourth film have shaken up the death scenes in the franchise. The 21-year-old actress has revealed that audiences will be scared purely on the basis that rules dont really apply anymore.

Thats the whole kind of thing about this movie, is the new rules, she explained. How horror movies work now, in the fact that the rules have changed and theres less of a box to fit the people who are murdered in, and how these murders go. Its left much more unknown.
