(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Emma Stone has recalled her mom's embarrassing drunk encounter with Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.

The American actress, who is famed for her roles in Easy A, Superbad, and The House Bunny, detailed the cringe-worthy night her mother accompanied her to the Golden Globe Awards.

The 22-year-old star, who was seated on a table next to the Hollywood couple, says her mom was being a little over-zealous with conversation after sipping on complimentary fizz.

"We sat at a table next to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, which was like the ultimate thing to bring your mom to. She never drinks and there was this giant bottle of Moet champagne because they were sponsoring the event, and so she had a lot of champagne, and she was talking to them about the kids, which was really interesting and funny," she laughed in an interview with Conan O'Brien on his Monday show.

"She was getting pretty loose and she was like Now you guys must be so tired, you two!' And she's leaning over to me to Angelina Jolie and I'm like [shrugs]. And Angelina's like Yeah, you know, all these kids,' and my mom's like How old is the oldest, oh, they grow up so fast. It flies! It flies!' I was like Oh boy!' It was pretty funny."

Emma is famed for having a deep husky-sounding voice. The stunning star has joked that she is usually mistaken for a man.

"Most people usually think I have a cold, or I've just woken up. Most taxi cab drivers call me Sir, because they don't look back. And sometimes they do look back and they still call me Sir on occasion. It's always been a bit of a struggle," she quipped. (C) Cover Media
