John Abraham join hands with Nikkhil Advani once again, who directed him 10 years ago in his film 'Salaam-E-Ishq'. Joining these two is the entertainment world mammoth Bhushan Kumar for producing the film. 

Now, John is back in his encounter flick and this time telling the tale of the real-life incident of the 2008 Batla House Encounter case.

Director Nikkhil Advani is back with another action thriller-drama after 'D-Day'. As per the reports, Nikkhil plans to wrap the shoot within a span of 50 days. Sharing the news via his own production venture Emmay Entertainment, Advani on twitter he wrote,''An association that began way back in 2005. I am so thrilled to be collaborating with @writish once again after #Dday @AirliftFilm We have worked for three years on this story and are so happy to have @TheJohnAbraham help us tell it. #BatlaHouse @EmmayEntertain.''
 
The film is set to go on floors from September 2018 and will be shot in Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur and Nepal. The film is based on a shocking true event that happened 10 years ago when seven-member Special Cell Team barged into a flat in Batla House, Jamia Nagar in search of Atif Bashir, Chief of the Indian Mujahideen who was behind several bomb blasts between 2003 and 2008 witnessed a nail-biting encounter which took lives of two cops and two suspected terrorists.

The director said to a leading tabloid,"The encounter will be seen from three perspectives - that of the police, those present near the location, many of whom believed that the bullets flying were for the TV serial Swabhimaan, which was being shot in the vicinity just two days ago, and the real picture." 

Bhushan Kumar from T-Series, says, "Nikkhil and I have been working together since many years and when I heard that he is making Batla House, I decided to join hands with him. After working with John in Satyameva Jayate, I know Nikkhil has chosen the right role for him. We are keen to produce content-driven cinema and Batla House is one of them"
