(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Emma Watson struggled to cope with pleasing everybody around her when she became famous.
The young actress was thrust into the spotlight after landing the part of Hermione Granger in the hugely successful Harry Potter film series in 2001. Emma, 21, has been juggling acting with a degree at a prestigious American establishment, although earlier this year announced she was taking a break from Brown University to study in the UK. The star admits things got tough when she tried to be in too many places at once.
"I would take more time for me. I would try to enjoy the experience more. I was so worried about pleasing everyone," she told Closer magazine. "I am a people pleaser. I was just so desperate to please everyone please both my parents, do really well on the film, please my school, please Harry Potter. Sometimes I felt like I was being ripped into about five pieces. So I would give myself more space."
Emma has two films in the horizon following final wizard instalment Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. She is still unsure what the future holds for her career wise.
"It is a transitory time for me and I'm not exactly sure which way I'm going to go, but I'm trying to enjoy it. I like working hard and knowing what I'm doing. I've never really been in this position before, so I'm getting used to it," she added. (C) Cover Media
