Karan Johar, one of the most renowned filmmakers in the Bollywood film industry, has joined hands with yet another successful filmmaker Ekta Kapoor. The two are coming up with a film that is based on a love-hate story.

Talking about the same, here is what Kjo had to say, "Ekta and I had been deliberating for a while to work together, but we were sure we wanted to work on something different and edgy. This script was perfect. I'd call it a love-hate story. In fact, it is one of the most interesting scripts I've read in recent times. Both the protagonists are strong characters and have a great opportunity to perform."

But the news that tops it all is Karan's newest favourite actor Emraan Hashmi. Kjo cannot stop praising the actor and the talent and skills he holds. "Emraan is a terrific actor and has tremendous clout at the box office. He plays the protagonist and the antagonist. This film will see him play a character that is very different from his previous roles. But having said that, his fan base will be totally satisfied with him as the chemistry that the lead actors share is great, romantically as well as sexually," he said.

The team are yet to confirm the female lead and Karan reveals that they will cast an eastablished actor and not a fresh face.

With no title finalized as yet, Karan states that he has entrusted the responsibility to Ekta to confirm the same.
