(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Eric Dane says everything he does is for his family.

The hunk is best known for playing Dr. Mark McSteamy Sloan in American television drama Greys Anatomy, and he is married to actress Rebecca Gayheart. The happy couple have a 13-month-old daughter named Billie Beatrice together and Eric has revealed that his family come before anything else. Although he used to dream of being a successful actor for his own personal gain, now he wants to make something of himself to make his loved ones proud.

"In the past I looked at myself as an artist, he told the German magazine InTouch. But today there is only one reason for me to work. And that is my family."

Eric and Rebecca who have been married since 2004 are keen to expand their family. They would love to give Billie Beatrice a sibling and even though parenthood is difficult at times, Eric thoroughly enjoys being a father.

"Family is hard work. But it's also an incredible luck - that's why I do everything for it, he added. "We definitely will have more kids. Hopefully very soon, we are working on it." (C) Cover Media
