(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Eva Longoria has no regrets in love.

The actress would rather fall in love "many times" and risk breaking her heart than never experience true romance.

The brunette beauty has most recently been linked to Penlope Cruz's brother Eduardo after divorcing her second husband Tony Parker in 2011.

"Love is a journey and love evolves. I'd rather have loved and lost than never have loved at all. I just think you should fall in love as many times as you can, because it's such a beautiful experience," she told that latest UK edition of Glamour.

The Hollywood star is best known for her role as Gabrielle Solis on US hit show Desperate Housewives, which has now ended.

Eva feels it took most people a while to realise she is nothing like her feisty, cheeky character.

"I think before, when Desperate Housewives first started, people assumed I was like Gabby: a man-eating, sex-crazed woman. But I'm very domestic, I love to stay home and sew, I'm pretty boring in my real life. I'm also a political junkie, always watching news shows and reading five papers in the morning," she said. "I feel like people know me pretty well, actually: what you see is what you get."

The actress also spoke of her friendship with Victoria Beckham, who has reportedly asked her to become a godmother to her youngest child Harper Seven, and Kate Beckinsale.

The 37-year-old is a real girls' girl and admires strong female role models such as US First Lady Michelle Obama and politician Hillary Clinton.

"When I'm with Victoria or Kate, I know I'll be laughing all night. They're lovely, beautiful women and I admire and know I'll have fun with," she said. "I grew up with women, I've always been surrounded by women. I love girlfriends, and have two sisters and a lot of aunts. I naturally gravitate towards girly girls." (C) Cover Media
