Eva Longoria Parker had discord in marriage

20th November 2010

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Eva Longoria Parkers estranged husband has filed his own divorce papers, stating their conflict of personalities has made the marriage untenable.

The actress moved to end the marriage on Wednesday, lodging papers in Los Angeles which stated irreconcilable differences had caused the union to end. It came a day after her representative shot down rumours Tony Parker had filed for divorce in Texas.

The basketball star insisted he knew Eva was going to file as they have been discussing their future at length in private. He has now lodged his own set of papers, in which he gives more details about the reasons for the split.

According to the petition, which was filed by initials - W.P and E.P. - Tony states the reason for the divorce: The marriage has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities between Petitioner and Respondent that destroys the legitimate ends of the marriage relationships and prevents any reasonable expectation of reconciliation, reports gossip website TMZ.

In Texas, divorces can take as little as 60 days, while in California they tend to become formal in six months.

Evas petition stated the pair had signed a pre-nuptial agreement, but it is not mentioned in Tonys filing.

Petitioner believes Petitioner and Respondent will enter into an agreement for the division of their estate, it states, according to the site. Petitioner owns certain separate property that is not part of the community estate of the parties..."

Tonys representative hasnt commented on the report.

It has been claimed Eva called time on the marriage after discovering Tony had been texting a mutual female friend for around a year. (C) Cover Media
