One of the most promising stars of Bollywood, Sushant Singh Rajput made successful transition from television to films with his debut film 'Kai Po Che'.

Proud and thankful for his work on television, Sushant has always maintained his love life steadily that first bloomed while working on his tele-series 'Pavitra Rishta'.

Sushant has been in relationship with his then co-star Ankita Lokhande whom he met on the sets. The two have been very public about their relationship which is now more than 5 years old.

Sushant who has been very open about his live-in relationship has always maintained that he will get married to Ankita soon. And it seems that the 'soon' is going to arrive sooner as he confessed that they are planning to walk down the aisle in near future.

"Ankita wants to have an elaborate wedding. So, I need to plan for it. It’s on the top of my priority list. We haven't fixed any date, but it should happen sometime soon," he smiles.

He isn't bothered by the myth which says that the career of a star is affected by marriage. "It's just a myth that once you get married, you lose your fan base. I think the audience will respect you more for your honesty and courage to stand by your girl. Also, as an actor, if you are skilled enough to be convincing in any role, then the audience will continue to love you," said a confident Sushant.
