(Cover) - EN Fashion - Eva Longoria Parker designed her own perfume because she ?can?t handle? other brands.

The beautiful actress is best known for her role in the hit US television series Desperate Housewives, and has also become a style and beauty icon to many women.

The star launched her first women?s fragrance, Eva by Eva Longoria, earlier this year, joining a host of other famous faces with their own signature scent such as Sarah Jessica Parker and Kylie Minogue.

Eva admits she wasn?t a fan of perfume before creating her own one, and her desire to find a fragrance which didn?t make her eyes water spurred her decision to create the scent.

?I can never wear perfume, I am always sneezing and my eyes water. So I decided to create my own perfume for other people who have the same reaction.

?I wanted to make a perfume that everybody could wear and I love it,? she revealed on the British television show Lorraine.

Eva also revealed her style secrets, admitting she requires a great deal of help from stylists and make-up artists to look as good as she does.

?I have a whole team of people, doing hair and make-up ? this is all an illusion!? she laughed.

Eva tries to maintain her fresh complexion by getting plenty of rest, and says she thinks that also helps her maintain a healthy mind.

The actress also mentioned her good friend Victoria Beckham, saying that she absolutely loves the pop-star-turned-fashion designer?s collection of clothes because they flatter her figure.

?Her designs are very feminine and they are great for any size ? if you are small, or larger, whatever size you are. They really give you a waist and give you a butt,? revealed Eva. (C) Cover Media
