(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Eva Longoria Parker will host this years MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs).

The annual ceremony will take place in Madrid, Spain, on November 6. Eva is thrilled to be involved with the event, which will see stars including Ke$ha, Kid Rock and Kings of Leon taking to the stage.

I am so excited to host the 2010 EMAs in the beautiful and sexy city of Madrid! I cant wait to see some fabulous performances, Eva said.

Linkin Park and Katy Perry will also be taking to the stage. Katy joins Lady Gaga as the most-nominated artist this year, with both stars vying for five of the prestigious prizes.

I am so proud that the two most nominated artists this year are two amazing women - Lady Gaga and Katy Perry - who are making some of the most exciting music in pop right now! Eva added.

Further details of the ceremony are yet to be released.

Katy and Gaga will battle it out for the prestigious Best Female prize, with Miley Cyrus, Shakira and Rihanna also featuring in the category. Eminem, Justin Bieber, Usher, Enrique Iglesias and Kanye West are up for the male version.

Both singers are also up for the Best Pop, Best Video and Best Song awards, with Gaga also in the running for the Best Live Act prize and Katy getting a mention in the Best World Stage Performance category. (C) Cover Media
