(Cover) - EN Fashion - Eva Longoria Parker says being friends with Victoria Beckham is great because she gets given free clothes.

The actress became close friends with singer-turned-fashion-designer Victoria in 2007 when the Beckham family moved to Los Angeles from the UK.

Eva admits one of the biggest perks of being pals with Victoria is that she gives her pieces to wear from her elegant fashion collection, which was recently nominated for a British Fashion Award.

“It’s great having a close friend who’s a designer,” she told British newspaper The Daily Star.

Eva, 35, was in London promoting her fragrance Eva by Eva Longoria, and Victoria had given her a range of chic outfits to wear on her trip.

“Victoria has given me five or six dresses from her new range to wear while I’m in London,” gushed the star.

Victoria, 36, launched the Victoria Beckham label in New York just two years ago, with her tailored outfits and glamorous eveningwear quickly becoming popular with A-list celebrities across the globe.

Her dresses and gowns have been worn by a host of beautiful stars such as Drew Barrymore, Madonna, Jennifer Hudson, Mary J. Blige and Gwyneth Paltrow.

Victoria will compete with the more-established names of Burberry, Mulberry and Pringle for the Designer Brand award at the British Fashion Awards later this year. (C) Cover Media
