Debutant director Anjana, a former associate of ace filmmaker Goutham Menon, is all geared up for the release of her maiden directorial venture 'Veppam'. To be released simultaneously in Telugu as 'Sega', the movie is produced by her mentor itself.

Says the director, "It is an intense action thriller. The action unfolds in north Chennai, a place known for its liveliness. Nani, Bindhu Madhavi and Evam Karthi fporm part of the cast."

The highlight of the movie is the awesome musical score by Joshua Sridhar. "We are happy with the songs that have made people notice the movie", she adds. She is confident that the movie touching on a new genre will be admired by one and all.
