Farhan Akhtar is set to join the ranks of very few film-makers in Bollywood who have worked with all the 3 Khans. With camp-wars becoming a trend in Bollywood, an experimental film-maker like Farhan Akhtar is looking forward to work with Salman Khan in a forthcoming project. The actor-director is said to be in regular talks with Salman Khan. 

“We’ve been meeting each other and exchanging related stories ideas for a while, so there will be a story soon that will work for both of us,” he says.

Farhan adds with a laugh, “I remember stories that came out some time ago about how I met Salman many times, but he turned down the film offers, which is also true.”

Salman is a very talented guy. I have known him since we were kids, thanks to our parents, Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar who were long-time buddies. He has been really supportive and caring towards my sister Zoya and me,” says Farhan, who was also spotted at Khan’s private birthday party last year.

Farhan was asked if he is making a film on the lines of and he says, "No, I can’t make those films. To me, "Don" is a larger-than-life film, though it has a different style as compared to those movies."

Farhan Akhtar has already worked with Aamir Khan and Saif Ali Khan in "Dil Chahta Hai" and Shah Rukh Khan in the "Don" series.
